Back Up

It is essential that you regularly back up your data, and it could not be easier with Sage Line 50. Even though complete disaster is rare, the importance of backing up your data cannot be emphasised enough. Sage Line 50 has two features that make backing up and restoring your data a quick and simple task. These are the Backup and Restore facilities available from the File menu.

It is advisable to run the data check option before you back up your data.

Note (Multicompany users only): You must back up your data for every company individually. The Sage Line 50 Backup option only backs up the data for the company that is displayed at the point of taking the backup.

Note (E Banking users only): Your e-Banking files used in the E Payments and E Reconcile options are not backed up as part of the Sage Line 50 backup routine.
